Hasn’t the weather changed all of a sudden. Last week, I was popping out in a short sleeved dress and was warm enough. Fast forward to Monday morning, and when I went to take C to college at 10am the temperature was 1 degree.
It is definitely time, to prepare for the cooler weather. Which is what I have been doing. Below I am sharing my favourite things for when the weather gets cooler.

Coats
I have recently teamed up with Lighthouse, on a review. I chose the Alicia Jacket in Pistachio, which is perfect for this time of year. It is not quite cold enough for a thicker winter coat. The jacket is light weight and great keeping you dry and warm. The jacket is breathable which also means you stay warm and not too hot
The jacket alongside two pockets on the outside, has also has a zipped internal pocket. Which is great for when you do not want to take your bag with you.
I have been wearing this jacket since the weekend, and loving the design and style of it.
Slippers
As much as I dislike hot feet, I also do not like cold feet. My slippers are firmly on my feet now keeping me warm. I can not wait to get home and put them on. Sometimes I enjoy using heatable slippers which soothe and keep my feet warm for hours.
Boots
My boots are back out. I do love my boots and tend to wear over the knee whether wearing jeans or leggings, or skirts and dresses. I have a few pairs but have a brown pair and a black pair that are my go too boots through out the winter.
Dressing Gown
My lighter summer dressing gown has been put away, and my warm and fluffy dressing gown is back. Nothing nicer than my fluffy dressing gown.
Hot Chocolate
It is now the perfect time to enjoy a hot chocolate, especially if you have been out and need to warm up.
Throws and Candles
I never need an excuse to purchase new throws and scented candles. With the new season, I have been looking at new autumn throws and changing my scented candles for something in keeping with the time of year.
What have you loved being re-united with?
Warm socks and fluffy rugs are very welcome in September and October. The change of seasons at this time of year always seems so fast. We were swimming and sunbathing two weeks ago. Just two days later, we were hauling out our warm clothes and socks.
I agreem I do love the cooler weather coming but am wearing my slippers a lot more now
I think the best thing about autumn is being able to snuggle into a gown and a hot drink. I do miss my winter boots and my winter coats. Finally I can go out and have pockets again to store stuff. I don’t know about you but none of my summer dresses or leggings had any pockets
I am loving having my boots back
I do love fall fashion- it’s such a cozy time of year and I’m really looking forward to my sweaters and boots! Hot coco is a wonderful way to keep warm and cozy too! I think I’ll treat myself to a cup tonight ^_^

Nothing worse than feet being too hot or too cold
Fall is my favorite time of year! Pumpkin spice everything, flannel, cute coats, candles, changing leaves. What’s not to love?!
