Health
Last week, I shared about my ongoing gynea problems, and that after researching I had a telephone appointment this Monday. The Dr I spoke to has been on the embarrassing bodies progam. I had tons of questionaires to complete and send in prior to our appointment.
The appointment went well, and she had a cancellation for this Thursday, which I jumped at. So tomorrow I am heading out to be treated. I will be sore and uncomfortable for a few days, but hopefully this will be the turning point.
The very sad thing about tthis treatment is, that the NHS do not treat it, apart from steroid cream which I have been using. If left untreated it can be dangerous.
Work Experience
C is studying Animal Care at college. Part of the course is about work experience, and she has to do 70 hours. You would think this would be easy, well you are wrong. She has emailed and contacted so many places, a couple have replied with a no due to the dates. Others just do not reply at all.
I feel so sorry for her, as she is contacting so many places and the date is getting nearer. I have told her she will need to speak to her Tutor.
What I Have Been Loving
I rarely wear jeans, and opt for jeggings. I do own a couple of pairs but it takes me a long time to find a pair that fit well all over. That was until I found Landsā End, as they make finding the perfect pair of jeans for you easy. You can put in your measurements and they will let you know the best size to order for waist and leg.
Putting this to the test, I decided to try the Womenās Skinny Leg Lift & Sculpt Jeans. They arrived in a beautiful box and from opening the box they felt great quality. I tried them on and they fitted me so well. The waist was correct, my bum did not look baggy and the length was spot on.
I have worn the jeans, washed them and reworn. They wash really well and fit perfectly, so there is no shrinkage which you can sometimes find.
It has only taken me until my 50ās to find my perfect jeans, and am so happy I have now found them. I can honesly say, if you struggle to find a pair that is a great fit all round, donāt compromise like I have always done. Try out a pair and see what you think. You will be spoilt for choice on the various styles and colours they have.
De-Clutter
I am so excited, next week we are hiring a skip and having a good de-clutter. Currently our spare bedroom is full of junk. We have decided we are going to just go through it all and get rid of a lot of junk. Plus a few trips to the charity shop as well. I can not wait to have a good sort out.

I can’t believe the NHS can’t treat something that. can be fatal. That is disgusting, Does that mean you have no choice to go private then? I hope you’re feeling okay after that appointment. Pretty lucky someone cancelled their appointment. Get well soon x
I know but sadly it is true, I am feeling a lot better and although early days can feel a huge difference already
trying to declutter here too but not feeling great – will start again soon
We are doing our declutter this week, I should be in less pain and I am fed up of it all nowl just need to hire the skip
Animal Care is such a great job to be doing and I do hope C manages to get some work experience sorted for her college. Also looking forward to trying Lands End clothing as not heard of them before.
She is loving her course and loves telling me about her day, and has now got work experience in a local vets
My son had a similar issue when he was looking for somewhere for the volunteering part of his Duke of Edinburgh. Pleased to read that she is able to at the vets surgery
She is over the moon as it is what she wants to do
I want a good clear out , especially of my wardrobe as nothing seems to fit at the minute and itās so depressing !
I know how that feels, nothing worse than having a wardrobe full of clothes you can not get into it comfortably
Youd think people would be glad to help her get her 70 hours. Geez. I hope that works out soon!
She now has an offerr in a vets surgery, and then more offers came flooding in. She is happy as she wants to be a vetinery nurse
I also have to declutter. I donāt have jeggings but I want to wear it too. Have a great week ahead.
Am looking forward to decluttering. I do love my jegggings, but these jeans have finally made me realise that there are jeans for everyone
Ahh nothing feels as good honestly as the simple joy of finding a good brand of clothing- especially jeans since they can really be uncomfortable sometimes. Lands End is great. I hope your appointment goes well and I’m glad you were able to get a spot in so soon. Fingers crossed š
It is always greatt when you find a brand of clothing that feels like it is made for you. My appointment went well although feel very sore and swollen now
My eldest is doing an accountancy course at college and need to do work experience too. He has emailed and rang around everywhere and he just cant seem to find any. It’s a nightmare, as he has to complete it to pass the course
Typically C got accepted by a vets near us, and then got two more offers. I really hope he finds something soon as it does worry them as it is part of the course
I am going to declutter as much as I can later today. I need to do this but have been putting it off, I need to make it a priority.
We have left it until next week so we can both be around to sort it out which will make everything a lot easier
Oh wow, I hope today’s session with the Dr goes well. The declutter should be good. It’s shocking how much stuff we can end up with that we don’t need. I bet you create loads of extra space after that!!!
The appointment went well, although unable to sit properly now as so swollen. I can not wait to have our sort out
I have been leaning into leggings as well – hard relate with being comfortable in the winter! It’s a shame the NHS isn’t able to treat you – scary thought!
I do love my leggings. I found out at the clinic that she is the only person in UK that does this treatment and they have patients from all over
Getting a skip to declutter is the right way to do it! What a great idea. The skinny jeans sound good, it’s been ages since I wore jeans. I feel like I put on way too much weight since having O (4 years ago!!) that I cant pull them off anymore!
I love getting a skip as it makes me be more efficient in getting rid of the clutter. I have not had a pair that fitted well for so long, and these do feel and fit great
Due to the part of the road our house is in we can’t get a proper skip, but I’d love to get one to clear out our garage. We’re having to get those skip bags as the collection is easier x
We are lucky we do have the room for a skip plus still able to park 3 cars
Hiring a skip is great. Have a nice decluttering. I’m sure you will feel a lot better after.

I’m sorry to hear about your gynea problems. It is true that if it’s left untreated it can be dangerous. I hope everything goes well.

It went ok now just need to wait to see results. Plus C now has a placement in a vets fairly near to us
The skinny jeans are my favorite! I love them!!! I usually wear them almost daily during summer.
I rarely wear jeans but will be getting more of these as fit perfectly
