Keeping Track Of Your Valuables

Now we are back to travelling, it is more important for us to look at keeping track of our valuables. Many people are turning to GPS trackers which can track everything from

  • Vehicles
  • Pets
  • Luggage and more

In fact it is not just if we are travelling. Last weekend our neighbours car was stolen in the early hours of the morning. We live on a busy main road which has traffic going past constantly. Which means we have to be much more careful of our belongings. Car covers are a great way of hiding what you have. Plus if someone does want to take it, this may put them off due to having to remove the cover.

Having a child who is learning to drive, at some stage she will be going off on her own journeys. For me having peace of mind if she has not been in contact. We will be able to just check to see she is ok.

PAJ GPS POWER Finder- GPS Tracker

We chose the PAJ GPS POWER Finder- GPS Tracker, as whether it is just for security when we are sleeping at home. Or if we are out and leave our car parked up, it will give us peace of mind.

The GPS tracker is suitable for cars, trucks and caravans and the power supply comes via a car battery.

You are alerted when –

  • The GPS tracker is disconnected from the external power supply
  • Motion Alarm – you will receive an alarm notification as soon as the GPS tracker is shaken or moved
  • Radius Alarm – you will receive an alarm notification as soon as the GPS tracker leaves the specified radius
  • Speed Alarm – you will receive an alarm notification as soon as the GPS tracker exceeds a certain speed
  • Ignition Alarm – you will receive an alarm as soon as the ignition is activated orr deactivated

Installation

The installation is very easy with the integrated SIM card giving you the best available network connection. Making the activation straight forward. It has a built in magnet which allows you to attach the tracking device wherever you want. The power finder is robust and splash proof and is perfect to use as an anti theft protection for your vehicle.

You do not have to think about recharging your tracker every day as the 10,000 mAh battery allows for about 40 days non-stop tracking with an active tracking time of about 1 hour a day and up to 90 days in standby mode. You will receive notifications when the battery gets low.

All this for online tracking worldwide for monthly subscription of

  • ÂŁ3.75 per month (ÂŁ89.99 every 2 years)
  • ÂŁ4.58 per month (ÂŁ54.99 yearly)
  • ÂŁ5.99 per month

My Thoughts

As I stated at the start of this post, we wanted to get this for when C is off out driving on her own. At the moment we are going to be using it on our car. Even if it is just for peace of mind while we are sleeping. Having a tracker has so many benefits and for me who does worry when I leave my car parked when out. It will give me that bit more peace of mind so I can relax and enjoy myself.

Have you got a GPS tracker? How have you found it and has it helped you feel more protected? Or have you often thought about getting one and never 100% sure on whether too or not?

  1. GPS trackers are good for large things like cars but it is handbags and purses, keys, phones and that special thing that mustn’t be forgotten that go missing most in our home. Knowing it’s GPS location is not so helpful for these as it lacks the resolution to locate where they actually are. Consequently we have Bluetooth trackers on the first two, and phones can usually be found unless they have no battery left (which is usually the case). The special thing that mustn’t be forgotten?, i.e. the birthday card that must be posted, the bill that must be paid, the face mask needed for the hospital etc. -well they are always just lost so get another and then you will find the first again.

  2. This is so useful. A lot of cars have been broken into here and my brother in law’s car has been stolen a couple of months ago too and his car was parked on a busy road. It’s crazy. I also plan to get a GPS tracker watch for my kids too when they start school so I know where they are at all times. It’s a scary world out there

    1. It is worrying, but when I told my husband about our neighbours car, he said that those cars are stolen to order and they have master keys. Which makes it even worse

  3. What a nifty little gadget ! Certainly will be so useful for someone who forgets where I put alsorts of stuff
