Am In Shock

This is Gizmo one of our boy budgies, this is a photo of when we first got him. Although he is not a lot bigger now bless him. He turned 9 months old last week. To celebrate he decided to have some fun with Snowy our white budgie.

My lovely daughter had this conversation with me

I thought, he is too young it will be ok. Oh no Snowy is showing signs of nesting. So now trying to sort out adding the nesting box to the cage and separating Snowy and Gizmo to one cage and Pippy and Beanie to the other while we wait the eggs and babies. My life is never dull.

One More Thing To Happen

A&E

On Sunday evening around 7pm my sister in law rang to let us know my mother in law was not well. A short time later her partner rang me said he can not stay on the phone but the ambulance is on its way. I spoke to her but she sounded awful.

At 9pm my sister in law rang again, to say they were taking her into hospital. The paramedic said it could be Sepsis and her organs may start to fail you had better get here. I had just made a drink and about to have a shower. So off we went to Basingstoke, we got there first. We were taken to the resus area where she was being treated.

She was sounding so much better to when I spoke to her. So far they did a CT scan to check a bleed on her brain, as she was not making any sense at all. Had chest drays and said she will be having more next day, as thought it was liver infection or stones. Monday I spoke to a Dr who told me it could be a heart murmur. Monday a different Dr to my sister in law the same and also a lump in her stomach, Then yesterday everything was clear, but keeping her in to finish antibiotics.

So no idea what is wrong, but whatever it is she is thankfully responding well.
