Ramblings Of A StressedMum – 22/04/2026

I really can not believe it is Wednesday again already. I am starting this post later than usual and wondering if I will get it finished today. Here is my Ramblings Of A StressedMum – 22/04/2026.

My Week

This Week

Grief

After scaring my mother in law when I put a post on my Facebook page. I admitted that I am struggling a lot. I was not really allowed the chance to grieve last year due to my stepsons. Then this year as I start to move forward a few steps, wham I am back again

With my birthday last week and my dad in and out of hospital. I am struggling and noticing so much more the void of him not being here

I am struggling alone, I am hurting and my heart just will not even start to heal at the moment.

I was talking to my mother in law earlier on the phone, and was saying if he was here or could talk to me he would be telling me to stop being silly and live life. When I looked ad there was a white feather near me on the sofa. So maybe that was him telling me to do that.

Health

Dad has his post op appointment last week. With a lot of information to take in. The tumour in his mouth was a lot bigger than first thought. He went into hospital again on Monday and had another op yesterday morning to remove the original plate and put another one in.

We now have a lot of scans and also appointments with another Consultant for his cancer and he will need an intense course of radiotherapy.
