Here we are at Wednesday again, although I did miss last weeks weekly round up post. It has been a very stressful few weeks, with so much going on. There is so much to talk about in my weekly Ramblings Of A StressedMum – 02/10/2024.

Blogtober

You may have seen my post yesterday for my first Blogtober challenge of 2024. Blogtober is where you are challenged to write and publish a post every day through out October. I have taken part in this for a few years, some years not completing. The past few years I have managed to complete the challenge.
This year we have prompts to follow, we can either follow the prompts, or go off topic, which I have done today. I hope you enjoy my daily Blogtober posts. You can find yesterdays post here.
Health

Both myself and C are no better, she is back in college but still suffering her dizziness. She had her chest scan a couple of weeks ago. We now both have blood tests booked for this Friday to hopefully show something that can help us both.
I am still in lots of pain, and hoping my blood tests may shed some light on what is going on.
My Dad
He finally came out of hospital on Monday. As I was away last weekend I last saw him on Thursday. My Mum went on Friday with a friend and found that there was Covid on the ward. I rang yesterday, to be told Covid was still there. When we visited we had to wear masks, aprons and gloves and the Covid was in his bay. The person with Covid was not wearing anything protective. Luckily Dad was able to be discharged and come home.
What I Am Loving

One thing I always have close to hand throughout the year is lip balms. I have them in my handbag, by my bed and in my lounge. I do tend to suffer with dry lips. Blistex is a brand I know and love, which is why I was happy to review their 2 latest additions.
Blistex Agave Rescue is a revolutionary lip balm that taps into the extraordinary properties of the agave plant, a super succulent known for its ability to thrive in harsh environments. This innovative formula delivers –
- Intense moisturisation from agave extract
- Revitalising effects from plum and peach extracts
- A burst of hydration for a refreshing experience
The unique combination of agave with juicy fruit extracts provides a revitalising, hydrating experience that softens and enhances the appearance of lips.
Blistex Jojoba Rescue brings the power of the jojoba plant, which flourishes in arid climates, to lip care routines. This nourishing balm offers –
- Deep moisturisation from jojoba and coconut oils
- Added benefits from natural kiwi extract
- Antioxidant protection with Vitamins C & E
The carefully crafted blend of ingredients in Jojoba Rescue works together to provide an intensely hydrating and nourishing experience for lips, even in the driest conditions.
Both are available to buy at Amazon, Tesco and Asda for £2.99
