With the Summer holidays fast approaching, and the nicer weather means we are enjoying time outdoors. This also means that the younger members of the family like to walk. Which is fine, although does mean everything takes longer. Plus it is more stress for us parents as holding hands restricts them. Which is why I am loving LittleLife Toddler Backpacks.

Llama Toddler Backpack with Rein
I was given the chance to review one of their backpacks. Which having a 2 year old grandaughter, is a great idea. She is very independant and loves to walk, which is great for letting off that energy. But we all know the dangers that surround us, more so with little ones.
I chose the Llama Backpack as it was cute, no other reason. As with young children they also love to carry their little treasures with them, or bring home a stone they must have. So a backpack that still lets them explore is a great idea.

I love animals, so trips to the zoo or farms were always my highlight.
Going to a little pub in Worton in the Yorkshire Dales. The owner was an amazing typical Yorkshire farmer and would entertain us kids with exploding beer mats, a foxs bum (taxidermy) that was attached to the wall which in turn was attached to a hosepipe, unsuspecting customers would sit under it and he would turn it on making us laugh. He had a fake box of matches on an ashtray and when picked up would say no smoking no smoking and then cough lol. I have many a fond memory of our trips up to see Ralph and camping in his field with the sheep.
I grew up in South Africa and a good day out was going to a local game farm on a mini safari
Trip to the seaside were my favourite, always would end a day with an ice cream š
A lot of my family lived on the coast, so I always enjoyed spending time with them and going to the beaches and promenades.
I loved going to theme parks. with Blackpool Pleasure Beach being my favourite.

I used to love going to Longleat Safari park when I was younger
I loved going black berry picking with my dad then helping mum make jam

The whole family including uncles aunties and grandparents went to Butlins Skegness when were younger I the days of chalets was a magical experience especially the mono rail which was so exciting lived that holiday

I used to love visiting my grandma, as my cousins used to visit the same day and we always had a fish and chip supper and stayed over
I loved a trip to the beach. We would always have a 99 flake cone, a walk along the pier & we always had some pennies to spend in the arcade on the 2p machines
Going to local Fair
Mine was the weekly visit to the library – my Mum couldn’t get me out of there!

When I was a child I used to love going to the beach especially if fish and chips and ice cream was involved.
There were thermal swimming pools a couple of hours away that II loved visiting. I could barely contain my excitement when I was told..
Visiting our local ancient woodland, quite magical!
I loved going to Landmark adventure park when I was younger! Great fun with so much to do.
My favourite and most memorable was riding the bumper cars with my dad. We laughed so much and I always enjoyed our days out.

I loved going to Scarborough. I loved being on the beach and going in the amusements. Getting a bag or chips and an ice cream. I like to do it with my daughter now too.
I used to love going to the carboot sales with my parents, we always got ice cream and freshly made doughnuts and played on the nearby park too!

My favourite was visiting Pets Corner, whuch is mow Sundown Adventure land. I now take my own kids ā¤ļø

My favourite outing when I was a child was going strawberry picking with my cousins then visiting the play park afterwards (which normally had a funfair during the summer months) Great fun and excellent memories.

My mum didn’t speak much English when she was young and being raised in a poor family, we rarely left our borough unless it was to visit family. So when I was young, any outing felt amazing. I used to think I’ve left the country when in fact, my dad just took me to Knightsbridge. But I guess one I would look forward to every year was going to Oxford Street in London to hit the Winter sales. I loved the busy atmosphere, the lights and the cosy feeling of being surrounded by everyone. Now I hate it, haha

Going to South Shields as a kid and playing on the arcade 10p machines.
Trip to Bournemouth beach with my siblings, mum and honorary aunt. I remember sitting in the sea with my sister and getting swept forward on the waves. Was such a lovely day, I remember the taste of sea water staying in my mouth so long, whatever I drank or ate tasted salty. Blegh! We ended up having to buy new clothes as we were soaked and covered in sand, it was a couple of hours drive home. We changed in the car, one in the back and the other in the boot. I remember my stretchy jeans with star applique stars on them. Awh those were the days!

We lived near the New Forest and I used to love it there in the summer. There was a stream that was great for childhood fishing and a rope swing over the water!
