If you ask anyone who knows me, they will tell you I have two passions in life shoes and handbags. In my view you can never have too many of either. Since Lockdown I have not treated myself to anything new. Which is why when Rydale contacted and asked if I would like to carry out a review of course I said yes.

About Rydale
Rydale started n 1954 by John Nichols, who wanted to create the pinnacle of country and outdoor clothing. Since the start Rydale have been bringing quality, reliability and style. Now into their 3rd generation, although times have moved on they have not changed on bringing the same beliefs of when John Nichols first started. A British company that has stayed loyal to its roots.
Offering a range of clothing, footwear and accessories (including handbags) they continue to provide great quality season after season.
Allerton Suede Mini Cross Body Bag
The Allerton Suee Mini Cross Boy Bag is a mini suede cross body handbag. The bag comprises of a magnetic fastening , when opened the main compartment is secure with a zip fastening. This gives the bag extra security, plus an extra side pocket on the inside which I love to keep items I need to find quickly.
The bag is made from genuine soft suede, and has a hanging brass buckle and matching suede tassels. Plus a lining with white pheasant print.

My Opinion
I have been looking for a cross body bag for a while, I am fussy with my bags and know what I like. When I am out in busy places, I like to feel that my personal belongings are safe. With a cross body bag you can have the extra security it can be held across your body leaving your hands free for holding onto children or carrying shopping. Also great in the winter when wearing coats, as you can have the bag under your coat. I obviously have not been able to give the bag a proper outing, so did take it out on a recent walk as needed to pop into our local shop. It felt comfortable and safe (yes a bag can be uncomfortable). If you are looking for a cross body bag I do recommend this one, for size and quality. They also have a great range of handbags for every occassion, I have my eye on a few more.
Love the colour and style!. I tend to use cross body handbags as I always feel they are more secure.
I do if out somewhere that is busy
I do prefer a crossbody bag than a handbag for safety reasons and so I can go hands free. These days I don’t like to bring a lot, especially when everything is digital. So all I need is a place for my house keys, a pack of wet wipes and my phone and I’m good to go. A bag like this seems to be perfect for it

Oooh I love handbags and have quite a collection, I am on the look out for a bag that’s large enough for everything I need to take out for a day, that is also cross body.
I usually find if I am looking for a certain bag I can never find it, but if I just look for a new bag I can find loads, I am loving this bag and if I have C in her wheelchair it is perfect and easier than one you have on your shoulder x

This is a nice crossbody bag. I like the color and the design. I haven’t gone shopping (not even online shopping) since the lockdown and I really need to get some new shoes and a pretty handbag to replace this one I have been using for the longest time. I will have to check RyDale and see what items they offer.

I’m a big fan of the cross body bag although I’d have to discipline myself not to stuff it full with the usual stuff I feel compelled to carry about.
I am the same I always have a big bag so smaller crossover bags will mean I have to look at what I carry with me
That handbag looks amazing and a wonderful pair for outfits. I don’t use handbags that much but this one is something I would try using.
