Once the Summer holidays started, I was already thinking of the back to school uniform. Not wanting to leave everything to the last minute. I would start buying to make sure we had everything we needed. With C excited to pick her new lunch bag and drinks bottle.

One of the biggest expenses to buying school uniform is the school shoes. You want to buy shoes that are practical and that will last longer than the first term. One thing we never cut corners on was footwear for the kids.

Start-Rite shoes, are a brand that is well known through generations. I always bought Start-Rite for C and was always happy with the quality and how well they lasted.

Which was why, when I was recently contacted and asked if I would like to work with Start-Rite on their back to school campaign, I said yes.

measure feet

I was sent a foot guide to measure my grandaughters feet, which measures the length and the width. As I forgot to take this with me, I had to send to my daughter in law to do the measuring.

Once we had the size, we headed to their school shoes range, and chose the Poppy design. Which has a shiny t-bar with pretty punch detailing, with padding in the ankle and insoles to guarantee long-lasting comfort.

easy to put on

The shoes have a lovely velcro fastener which makes putting the shoes on and taking them off easier.

Sadly, I have not had a chance to catch up with my little shoe model. But am having her to stay in a couple of weeks. When she is here I will add more pictures to the post and on my social media channels so you can see them in action. This of course will be after I have had tons of Nanny cuddles.
