One thing I love is trying out new products, which I love to share with you. I was contacted recently to see if I would like to review Salt of the earth Natural Deodorant and Foaming Hand Wash. Which I said yes to straight away. As I love that they are 100% natural products.
Table of Contents
ToggleSalt of the Earth stated back in 1993, and then adopted by mother and son team Thomas and Sally. Where they first started in Sallys home. Where they started with their first single deodorant, before expanding their brand. Their vision staying with them to produce products that are natural, environmentally friendly, that are effective and ethical.
They also bring their commitment into their packaging. The deodorants come in recyclable HDPE packaging and they are continuing to reduce plastic through their 500ml spray refills.
They are now stocked in a variety of stores and won Best New Brand in 2017 at the Beauty Astir Awards.
The Ocean & Coconut natural deodorant spray features ocean notes blended with a touch of melon, citrus and coconut.
Aromas:
The Melon and Cucumber Foaming Hand Wash is a natural, vegan and cruelty free foaming hand wash is kind to skin and sustainable. It’s PH balanced and contains natural ingredients to keep your hands clean and feeling soft throughout the entire day.
As a woman going through the menopause, I suffer terribly with hot flushes. This plays on my mind for when I am out. I need a deodorant that works and keeps me feeling clean and fresh. I have been using this deodorant this week, and had no problems, it does what it says. The only difference to my usual brand is that it is natural and environmentally friendly.
We go through a lot of hand wash in my home. We have not had a foaming one before, as with some soaps they leave your hands feeling dry. Which is why there is always hand cream to be found nearby. I did not notice my hands getting that dry using this. The rest of my family have not reported any problems either
I am definitely a convert, I am trying to be more eco friendly where I can. If I find new products that support this, I do change.
