It has been a couple of weeks since my last weekly round up post. There has been a lot going on this end and my mind has not been where it should be. Which means it must be time for my Ramblings Of A StressedMum – 05/06/2024 round up.

Health
I will start with C, she is now on her new medications and supplements that her Consultant wants her to try. At the moment there has been no change and she is really struggling. But college for her finishes Friday next week. Which means she can rest and recover.
I have had three trips to see my GP since my last post. I am having problems with breast pain, which I am convinced is an infection as I can feel it spreading down my body and also my blood sugar levels are rising. No lumps which is good but is bumpy. So had a 2 week referal to the Breast Clinic.
I visited my GP yesterday, as the pain and tenderness is getting worse, and I feel awful. I walked out in tears, probably not helping I am getting disturbed sleep due to being uncomfortable. About 10 minutes after getting home, the Breast Clinic rang, and I have an appointment on Sunday afternoon. So fingers crossed all is ok
Meet Winnie
Last Friday are little collection of 4 budgies, became 5 when Winnie came to join us. You have all followed her journey from when she hatched. She is Pippy and Gizmo’s cousin and very cheeky. We put her in the smaller cage with Beanie on Friday to settle in.
C had them all out together on Saturday, and then put her in the big cage with the others. Pippy was the one we were worried about, but Winnie has none of her stroppiness which is quite funny. She has settled in very well. She follows Snowy around as her mum was pure white as well. Plus when Pippy comes to see me Winnie follows. She is 7 weeks now.

I want to say thank you to you all, for sending through great topic ideas. I will be back on track with this weekly post soon. I have just been out of sorts this past couple of weeks and needed the break. As always though if you have any topic ideas please let me know.

It is getting closer, I am shocked I am prepared this year sorted my dads and somehow my husbands as my daughter who is great at picking gifts leaves her dad to me. Just need to get cards now
I”m so glad Winnie has settled in so well! She is adorable, and hearing she’s already part of the crew makes my heart happy.
She has definitely settled in, and love it when Winnie, Gizmo and Pippy are sitting together as the three cousins. Poor Pippy though not sure she is used to one of them not moving for her as Winnie just stands her ground
