One thing you will all know by now, is hard much I find teaching our children to read is important. Before C even knew what a book was, we would read to her or look at the pictures. As she grew we would make our own stories from the pictures in the book, or discussing what we thought would happen next. Giving your child the gift of reading is such a valuable gift.
