When my children were young I tended to holiday relatively locally. They used to love a break at Lego land, but It became easier once my eldest son was tall enough to accompany my smaller son on the rides. Up to that point I had to go on rides multiple times as on some rides you were only allowed to take one child at a time!

I wish there were all inclusive hotels in the UK but Butlins is the closest I can find where you can be sure your kids are entertained. and you pay for half board, then that is two of your meals sorted too. I really don’t know how single parents do the things they do. They are very admirable.
