Improved Circulation

For those who suffer with bad circulation, you may find that massages and hydrotherapy will enhance the blood flow. This can also improve overall health by detoxifying the body.

Pain Management

Both myself and my husband found that having a deep tissue massage, did in fact help us with the pain we were both suffering. After the treatment, we did feel more relaxed and in less pain, especially for those who suffer with back pain or arthritis. There are a variety of treatments to help with this –

  • Deep tissue Massage
  • Acupuncture
  • Hot Stone Treatments

Skin Health

If you have problems with your skin, or want to look glowing for a special event. You can book for their facial treatments or body treatments which will

  • Exfoliate
  • Hydrate
  • Nourish the skin

These are very popular for hen do’s as you will be left with a healthier and radiant complexion

Detoxification

Spas also offer treatments for detoxification, which will eliminate toxins from the body. The treatments can be

  • Body Wraps
  • Saunas

Mental and Emotional Benefits

Stress Reduction

When you walk into a Spa, you walk into a calm and serene environment. Which is calming and will help to reduce your stress levels.AMP Visiting a spa will also boost your endorphin and serotonin levels. Which will help you in improving your mood and give you a sense of well being.

Social and Recreational Benefits

Visiting a Spa will give you quality time with your partner, close friends or relatives. Where you can share that relaxing atmosphere.

You may also be able to use their other facilities and take a swim or join a yoga group.

When we visited we also enjoyed a lovely lunch, which gave us time to chat and just relax.

As I mentioned above, we had our first Spa experience this year AMPand loved it. If you have never experienced one, and wondered if you would like it. I would say go for it, you can choose a spa treatment or have a few. It is such a relaxing experience. We are definitely, going to be booking more Spa experiences.
