Ramblings Of A StressedMum – 19/08/2026
19 August 2026

We have made it through another week, and not sure about you but I am so thankful that the weather has got cooler. This means that is time for my weekly round up post Ramblings Of A StressedMum – 19/08/2026.

My Week

It has been a very quick week again, where I do not seem to have stopped with so much going on.

Health

My Dad had a Consultants appointment on Monday with Oncology. He was really pleased with how Dad is doing and is happy enough to pass him back to the surgical team. Which means we will be able to start Dad on his road to repair and recovery. For now it is a wait to get that appointment and a wait for scans to see if the treatment worked. We do still have one more appointment booked for the oncology team.

C is finally getting her Botox on Friday to help with her migraines. Hopefully they will continue this treatment while we wait for the other referrals.

Biscuit

Biscuit is now 10 weeks old and such a cutie. He goes from 0mph to 100mph, when he is awake he is very busy. He is good and takes himself outside most of the time. We are trying to get him used to using one door as both will not be open all the time until next Summer.

He had a long car journey yesterday when we went to see my grandkids. Biscuit really created when we started off but soon settled down and he stayed in his seat. He had a great time seeing them and was shattered last night.

Today he has his next lot of vaccinations. We also need to ask about a little lump we have noticed, wish us luck it is nothing too bad.

Pictures are of Biscuit yesterday looking cute, and this morning of me in my new Biscuit slippers that I had to get.
