The research which was conducted by British skincare brand Sudocrem. They have found that it really is the little things that count, if you are looking to spoil Mum. Showing her you care can be as simple as

• Letting her sleep a little longer
• A personalised gift which has been made just for her
• Control of the TV remote for the night

The Survey

Of the 1000 Mums who were surveyed –

• 94% said they would love 8 hours of sleep this Mothers Day
• 80% said a long, soothing bath would be great
• 66% said a personalised gift would mean a lot to them
• 47% said they would enjoy not having to share their stuff for a day

What do these results tell us?

Being a Mum is hard work, AMPit is 24/7. Having a baby means we wave goodbye to luxuries, our personal space, and a good nights sleep. Giving Mum a gift she will remember can cost nothing apart from your time. Give her some time out to do what she wants. Make a cuppa and sit and have a chat, it really is all about the little things.

My son bought me a small panda ornament for Mother’s Day when he was little. (my mum took him shopping) but he used his own pocket money & bought me a panda as his favourite cuddly toy was a panda. It still has pride of place on my living room.

I treated my mum to a flight so she could go on holiday and she was over the moon!

Although I have been fortunate to receive lots of expensive gifts my favourite is a little beaded bracelet that my son threaded in nursery. It says “I love you Mam.”

I gave mum a chalet type jewelry box made from lolly sticks and with a sparkly brooch it in and I was so delighted with it i have never forgotten it. Not sure if she was a pleased as me

Flowers always brighten a room and anything fragrant is delightful.
