What I like To Watch - StressedMum
We are into the third day and today is Blogtober day 3 – what I like to watch. This is where I give you a little glimpse into what I like to watch on the tv. I tend to watch tv in the evenings once dinner is sorted and I can relax.
Table of Contents
ToggleI do love my soaps and watch them everyday. My husband is not so keen but will put up with me watching them. The soaps I love to watch are
I love easy watching entertainment shows such as
I have always loved baking, and love watching GBBO, I know I could not cope with the pressure of working under that stressAMP. But the creations they produce are amazing.
We both love Masterchef the professionals, but I do also like Celebrity Masterchef, although I do not think I could work in a professional kitchen.
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire makes me realise I am not as foolish as I think I am. I surprise myself a lot of the time at what I do know.
We both have very different likes when it comes to what we like to watch. Having a love films and my husband has even educated me on Marvel films and I do enjoy them now. We do have some common ground with films and seem to find ones that we will both enjoy to watch. My husband also loves documentaries, which is something I would never have watched before. I agree some are boring, but I do find some enjoyable. I suppose it is all down to keeping an open mind about learning.
What do you like to watch on tv?
I mainly watch dramas and films on Netflix but so wise the only one i watch is hollyoaks. #blogtober
I haven’t watched Hollyoaks in years, I did find out yesterday that The Crown season 3 is starting next month
Is Millionaire still on tv in the U.K.? I have no idea if it is still on here in the US but if it is, I would definitely watch that show. I loved the trivia end lifelines and such. Darcee & I are finishing up our marvel universe on Netflix this October too with the Punisher since we finished watching the other series a few months ago. Do you like those?
Millionaire has not long restarted again here
To be honest, its rarely I spend regular time on tv — but if I do, I have a series of Netflix Originals and movies to seat on. It is also most of the time a resting time for me and my partner.
I have the tv on in the evenings, I am still pottering around and still often working, so it can be a distraction I need to take a break
When we lived in the UK before, I used to watch Coronation Street and East Enders. I’m sure I cannot catch up on the story now. My sisters and I also waited for Top of the Pops every Friday. It was the highlight of our week.
And in the afternoon, after school, I loooooove to watch Conundrum. Do you still have that?
I used to love Top of The Pops that finished a few years ago now. I can not remember Conundrum
Wow, that Eastenders show has been around forever, hasn’t it? I’ve seen the Bake-Off show. But not familiar with the others. We don’t have cable or other regular TV, just use streaming services for movies and original shows. There’s so much changing content that I’d have a hard time saying that I like one particular show over another.
I have watched Eastenders since the first episode. We watch a lot of Netflix as well
I like watching Netflix shows and movies too. I have many things to watch in October
So do I and so much to watch
I love Masterchef and just about any baking show! You have great taste
Thank you I love these shows
I love masterchef always intriguing to see the challenges and the food, funny thing is I have never watched coronation street.
I love masterchef and always feel sorry for them when they get bad feed back. I love Corontion Street
My cousin Matthew (play’s David) is in Emmerdale, but I don’t watch any soaps. I do like the marvel movies, you might like the marvel series, Jessica Jones, Daredevil etc…
Wow I like him he always seems such a lovely person. We have watched those series as my husband loves them
Share loads of your to be honest and think way too many people are way too snotty about those of us who watch and enjoy soaps. Love Masterchef and Bakeoff too. Love documentaries, true crime and politics and the odd crime drama. Without all of them at the minute though apart from Sky News Live #Blogtober19 – nice to know if we ever get to meet we can watch telly together happily enough!
I love my soaps and watch them religiously, we can sit with a coffee and chocolate and watch together, you watch a lot of what I watch too.We definitely wont get bored when we do finally meet
I love the soaps too. I watch them all and GBBO and I’ve even been watching a bit of Celebrity Masterchef.
I amaze the kids while watching Who Wants To Be A Millionnaire. I am sure they think I’m a bit dumb but I manage to get more of the questions right than them. hehehe
You sound just like me lol, I am quite good on Millionnaire I did tell hubby he should go on it as he knows everything
My husband and I (sounds so royal) were only talking this morning about how we used to watch things together on television. Now, he sits upstairs watching Sky Sports while I watch any drama that’s going, including on Netflix. I used to be a soap addict but I don’t really watch them now, unless you count Casualty and Holby City, I love those. I’m currently loving watchign The Capture, but so excited for His Dark Materials to Start.
#blogtober19
I haven’t watched Casualty for years. We are watching The Capture I have gone through saying how did they do it, I don’t understand and now it is really getting good, can not wait for next weeks episode
We only watch Netflix and Prime now. It’s good not to have adverts and watch a whole series in one go.
I have to admit I am not a fan of adverts either
I am guilty of binge watching The Great British Cooking Show on Netflix! So fun!
Glad I a not the only one x
I love watching TV too, especially on weekends where I try to catch up with my recorded shows. Right now I have 911, The Resident, Seal Team, NCIS , Van Helsing, and the Suites to watch this weekend, and I’m so excited!
We have just finished Suits I can not believe it has finished there will be no more
We are very similar in our TV tastes !! Though I have recently started slipping down the rabbit hole.of Netflix box sets and losing hours!! #blogtober
We are the same with Netflix, it is a nightmare when there are whole seasons or multiple seasons you just keep going
