Weekly Update – 13/03/2017

It is time again for my weekly update, another week has been and gone.  Is it just me, or are these weeks going far too quickly.

I will start with C

As always I will start with C, she has been suffering a bit with all the stress that has been going on lately (will explain a bit more below).  We had our home visit from her tutor and her boss last Tuesday. To see about home tutoring for the time being, until she is well enough to try at school again.  It went really well, and she starts tutoring again tomorrow from the comfort of her bedroom. So a lot less stress for her to worry about. I am so glad as she has such a great relationship with her tutor.

She has been having other symptoms this week, can not stand the light. So curtains have to remain closed and yesterday she said she felt spaced out and had a slight temperature. Which seems to have gone today (fingers crossed).  Hopefully things will start to improve again soon, once she gets back into the routine of tutoring again.

As you know, we have been having a rough time with S lately. For the past 2 months he has had a new girlfriend, and since being with her, he has changed into a total opposite of how he has always been. The most part is lying all the time, and it has been constant stress.

Last Sunday they got engaged, I spoke to him on the phone (as we were away) he said they were not. Then on social media really put me down saying he doesn’t have to tell me anything and more.  It came to a head on Tuesday night, when his Dad lost it with him and they had a huge argument.  All settled down they had a heart to heart and I had one with him later.  I even promised to cook him his favourite meal next day and we would all sit down and have a nice calm dinner together.  I went out specially and got the ingredients, he turned up at 11pm.  Next day I got a text he was moving out, we have not seen him since. He will not tell us where he is, but we know where he is.

I did send him a message no more arguments, or stress, he is an adult and it is his life, we love him and care about him, and the door is always open and this will always be his home.  Since then he has kept communication going.  I just hope he is happy and have to say the stress has gone and we live in a calm house again.

I have had a pretty quiet week really. No surprise with everything else that has been going on,. A few weeks ago I posted about an event we went to a Hawkers Bar and Restaurant.  Following my post, I have now been invited to go and review their restaurant, and we are off out for a lovely relaxing meal this evening.  So keep your eyes open for a full review later this week.

As always, when I have some here is a couple of pictures that have come up on my Facebook memories

Hopefully next week, I will be able to update with no stress related stories.

How was your week, hopefully less stressful than mine?

It definitely sounds like it was quite a stressful week with all that went on with S. Now that it has all come to a head and he is out on his own, the stress will be gone and hopefully, a more calm and happy relationship will be had with him. Good to hear that C will begin tutoring at home again, I hope she does well x

It certainly has been a very stressful time, I could have gone on for ages, but this is the cut down version. He is keeping in daily contact with me though which is nice. I am hoping C manages to cope with her tutoring x

I’m so glad C is getting her tutor back again and the fact she can work away on her room 🙂 not so good about the stress hopefully this week will see a reduction for her. Hope you all have a great week ahead 🙂 x

I have to say we have had so much support from her school and the education department, and her tutor is great with her and she can read when C needs to have a break or if to call it a day. Hopefully when she is up to it she can start working in school again with her tutor and building up. We are looking for a much calmer week x

What a stressful time it must have been for you. But now that S has moved out, it sounds like it will be a bit calmer for everyone x

It was awful, did not help C either, although she loved the drama a bit. He is just adamant he is an adult and it is his life. We do have to respect that, but he does not see that we need respect back. Will let him hopefully work it out or pick up the pieces when he needs us x
