Those Little White Lies

You all know those little white lies that I am talking about. The Tooth Fairy, Father Christmas etc. We teach our children not to tell lies. Then there we are telling them lies about the tooth fairy who comes into their bedroom a night and takes their tooth and leaves them some money. Or Father Christmas who visits them while they are sleeping, bringing them their Christmas gifts. The Tooth Fairy My Daughter is going to be 12 next month. I know some people love pets. While others can not stand the mess and ties that come with owning a pet. But to me they become part of the family. I also think that they teach children so many valuable life experiences too. Yes, you can not just go out for the day and come home late. Leaving your dog indoors all day without being able to go out, or feeding them. With no idea what mess you would come home too. There is the cost of feeding and vets bills. It seems to to be the current trends for girls this year is dip dying their hair. My daughter, like many others is desperate for this in her hair as well. I just can not do it, it is not that I am one of those mums who refuses as I do like it. And the colours are great. Goodbye July – hello August. I have to say you were an emotional one, with lots of tears being shed. End Of A Chapter My daughter, had her last School Summer Fair, last sports day, as a Primary School Student. She had her leavers assembly which was so emotional. Watching her whole class perform together in their class assembly for the very last time. Seeing how much they had grown from their first one in Reception. You could not help but shed tears as you watched them. Not only perform together for the last time, but their realisation of this as well. Then they had their leavers party. Last Tuesday my husband turned to me and asked if I fancied going to Paris the next day for a couple of nights. Well, I was not going to say no and ran off to tell our daughter we were off to Paris the next morning. Before hurrying around sorting everything out to take. Our Trip To Paris Our journey started early Wednesday morning. We booked an uber taxi to pick us up from home and take us to St Pancras Station. Once at St Pancras, we checked into the Eurostar, and then waited in the lounge for boarding onto the train. This was the first time any of us had travelled as a foot passenger on the Eurostar. What a week

This week was slightly different to last week. Where we had a very spontaneous trip to Paris, which we thoroughly enjoyed. School Uniform Shopping This week was all about one of my most hated trips out, the school uniform shopping. I like every other woman loves shopping. But I find no enjoyment out of buying school uniform. Apparently, my Mum thinks this has stemmed from my school days, as I used to moan the same then. Usually, it is replacement skirts, a few polo shirts, new socks and shoes, lunch bag. Maybe aa new cardigan if outgrown her old one and that is it.
