Many shampoos contain additives which can be too harsh for your hair. Look for ones which contain dimethicone and guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride as these will ensure that your hair stays soft and shiny.

Hot water can strip the protective oils that act as a natural conditioner. And your hair’s natural shine can disappear. Use lukewarm water to wash your hair. Pamper the scalp by massaging it while you shampoo.
