My Week – 18/09/2016

My Week - 18/09/2016

Another week has flown by, and it is time for my weekly post about the goings on in the StressedMum household.

My Daughter C, started back at school this week. She does 1 hour a day on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, in school with a tutor.  C has loved going back into school and starting to get a bit of routine back in to her life.  She was struggling by Thursday, but the smile on her face when she came out on Thursday made my week.  I asked her how she feels about completing her first week and she said great.  I think it is going to be a long journey. But she is determined to get back to normal at some stage.  She loves her tutor which really does make all the difference.

As you know one of my boys is now living with us. And he has made us so proud this week.  After the rough time he has had lately, he got accepted onto a course this week. He is so happy, as our we.  He is starting full time on Monday.

I have been quiet this week, as I have not been feeling too well.  Thursday night it came out fully and I have caught some bug. Think I picked it up at our friends last weekend.  I have spent the last few days in bed feeling rough with no energy.

I was planning to write a post this week about drivers, and various observations I have made when I have been driving around, but just have had no energy to really pick up my laptop, which is unheard of for me.  Then yesterday at 8.30 we were woken by a huge bang and looked out of our window to see a car in the side of a lorry, I was straight on the phone calling the emergency services, we even had the air ambulance land.  I am going to write the post this week and share about what happened yesterday, but I do now know that the driver survived.

Today I am just chilling out in bed and hopefully will start to feel more human soon, but on the whole this week has been great and I am so proud of my children.

Hope you have all had a good week x
