Lolly’s Sweet Treats Review

When I was a child, we used to be able to go to our local sweet shop and buy penny sweets or buy a quarter of what we wanted at the time from a huge choice of sweets in a jar or a quarter of one and a quarter of another.  These days this has changed and when I talk to my kids about this they look at me as if I am about 100 years old.

When Harry from Lolly’s Sweet Treats contacted me asking if I would like to review their products, how could I possible refuse, and I was not disappointed.

As you can see they sent me a great selection. Which I had to share with my family and not enjoy to myself.

I was sent the Retro Pick and Mix Jar which included

  • Bubblegum
  • Black Jacks
  • Double Lollies
  • Fizzers
  • Fizzy cola bottles
  • Fruit Salads
  • Gobstoppers
  • Liquorice Comfits
  • Mini Love Hearts
  • Parma Violets
  • Refreshers
  • Sherbert Fountains
  • Drumsticks

If you are a fan of old fashioned sweets or fancy a walk down memory lane I can thoroughly recommend browsing the website. Some of my favourite sweets from my childhood are

  • Sweet Tobacco
  • Toffee Crumble
  • Milk Gums

Lolly’s Sweet Shop, is a small business with a huge range of retro sweets, and cater for everyone including gluten free and vegetarian free, you can find out more about them here. They also support the Honeypot Childrens Charity which is a charity  that provides respite holidays for children between 5 and 12 years old who are the primary and/or sole carer for a long-term unwell family member. Their ethos is that every Child deserves a childhood.

Do you have a favourite sweet that always takes you back to your childhood?

*This is a sponsored post, where I received the product in return for an honest review, I found this a very hard review as I had to eat the sweets, I am sure you can all sympathise on this. But all views are my own and I can only rate everything about this company highly
