FireDragon The Eco Friendly Way to Light Your BBQ

Whether we are having a BBQ or sitting round a fire pit in the evenings, one thing we use to get the fire started is firelighters.

One thing we are all trying to do is look at eco-friendly ways we can help our planet, while still enjoying what we love. Which is why I have teamed up with FireDragon, to talk about their eco-friendly fire starters.

Who are FireDragon?

FireDragon is a brand created for fire and flame lovers, for those BBQ enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. Embracing the simple pleasures of bringing people together, warming yourself by a fire and sharing stories creating unforgettable moments.

FireDragon Solid and Gel are a all-weather ECO FRIENDLY biofuel & firelighter. Made from UK sourced ethanol, FireDragon can be used in multi-fuel cooking stoves, for indoor ethanol fireplaces and is excellent for kick starting the barbecue.

Just add 2 -3 firelighters under your charcoal or tinder, light the fire and once the firelighters are lit well add more charcoal, logs etc to fuel the fire, making sure not to let the flames go out.

FireDragon Gel Firelighter

Squeeze the required amount of gel directly under your tinder or fuel, making sure to replace the cap straight away. Then ignite the fire.  Never add the gel to open flames

FIRE DRAGON FUEL  –

No toxic fumes, no damage to the ozone layer and no temper tantrums when the thing wont light BECAUSE firedragon fuel always lights no matter the weather .
HRH Prince Charles called it “remarkable” on his visit to the Welsh company BCB International last month.
It’s a one-of-a-kind eco-friendly firelighter initially created for military because of its sustainability (no trees were harmed in its making) but also, due to its performance lighting instantly in all weathers and its power for creating roaring fires without any of the nasty harmful things traditional firelighters bring with them.
It comes in cubes or in bottles of gel, and liquid – fuss and mess free with no lingering smell, smoke or soot or taste.  Good for camp fires, BBQ, fire pits, traditional fired pizza ovens and grills. Currently available in Blue Diamond garden centres, Go Outdoor, JD Sports, Millets, Blacks, and B&Q, among other retailers

Recycle where and when you can. And try and walk or cycle where you can instead of using the car for going short distance.
