Here we are, we have made it through another week and made it to Friday. As we head into a bank holiday weekend. Although the weather is not looking great at least there is no rain forecast yet. Time for my weekly round up post of the ups and downs this week.
We still have no idea whether C is starting education in September yet or not. We have been battling this for two years and so close. Her support is away on holiday and back next week so hoping that something will get sorted as it is affecting C as all she wants is to go to college and study.
Last week you may remember me mentioning I was having a scan, this was an internal scan which I knew I was having. I am so glad my husband drove and dropped me at the door and picked me up, as the pain was horrendous. If I had not been awake I would have sworn they had done biopsies as the pain was that intense.
I got the results on Tuesday, and they came back all clear no further action. Great news but still does not help with the extreme pain and discomfort I am in. I had another telephone appointment with my GP on Wednesday, and she then asked me to go in for a face to face appointment. Yes you read that right I actually saw my Dr. After a very intense examination she is referring me back to Gynea and to carry on as I am for now. I can barely walk as they pain is so bad so no idea how long I need to wait for my appointment to come through.
I know I have mentioned the C word, but I learnt a long time ago that retailers start talking about Christmas as early as July. I am now starting work on my Gift Guides, and already have some amazing items to share with you all. I can not wait to start promoting my Gift Guides.
What has made me smile
I saw today from another Blogger who reviews books, that the author Renita D’Silva has a new book coming out. I have know Renita for a long time now as C and her daughter went to Primary school together and were friends. I remember sitting chatting to her over a coffee when she was writing her first book, and have watched her success ever since.
How has your week been?
