Deliciously Guilt Free And Moreish

Deliciously Guilt Free And Moreish

I know a lot of us are heading out of lockdown, suddenly realising that going back to normal life means more than being able to go out and socialise and shop.

I have had many conversations over the past week with friends, when we suddenly realise we have to start wearing normal clothes again.  Not just the comfortable clothes we have been wearing around the home.  Even worse is when we go to put them on and realise we may have gained a few pounds. We can either go two ways, go and buy new clothes or try to eat a healthier diet. Eating a healthier diet is obviously the better option and one we can do easily at home. One thing I do struggle with is sweet treats, and this will be where I fail.

I have now found a great way to have that sweet treat and not feel guilty with Deliciously Guilt Free and even better they taste amazing.

About Deliciously Guilt Free

Starting with a sugar free and low carb lifestyle, Dan and Basma soon fund it a struggle to find sugar free baked goods, that had clean, natural ingredients.  Every low carb snack they found was filled with fake ingredients and chemicals.  With this in mind they decided to bake there own and Deliciously Guilt Free was born.

Starting by baking at night and working through the day, they found that this was achievable with the handful of orders they were receiving, until 2020, when more and more orders were coming through and finding that there were not enough hours in the day to keep up with the orders.

As lockdown hit they found a great solution, by moving into a local cafe in their village that was closed.  This gave them the space to bake and keep up with the orders that were pouring in.  Soon, they realised that they needed more space and moved again before moving into a commercial kitchen and warehouse.

Brownies

I was sent a mixed box of the favourites to review, the mixed box consisted of

Blueberry and Lemon Drizzle

A delicious lemon drizzle cakes that are packed with blueberries and topped with lemon drizzle.  They are low in sugar and make the perfect sweet treat for a low carb diet or keto snack

Peanut Butter Brownie

peanut butter brownie

A lovely gooier chocolate brownie that is made from 90% Lindt chocolate and smothered in peanut butter. I am not a peanut butter fan so did not try this one and let my peanut butter family be the reviewers on this one.  Aparently it was amazing and they wanted more.  It is a perfect keto snack or have warmed up as a dessert. The brownie is also gluten free

Chocolate Fudge Brownie

Chocolate brownies need no introduction, and this one did not disappoint, it is rich and silky and has a very intense chocolate flavour that will satisfy any chocolate need.

Salted Caramel Blondie

I do love blondies and these were amazing they are rich and buttery and tasted amazing.  You can eat as they are or warmed up with ice cream

My Opinion

When I go on a diet, I do find a low carb diet works best for me, and it is one I can stick to without going off track.  The one thing I do always struggle with when dieting is the sweet treats.  They usually just do not taste as you expect them to.  With these they really do taste amazing and will give you that treat you are looking for, without going off track.

I love that you can either choose a mixed box to try different flavours, or you can buy a box of your favourites.  I know I am going to be purchasing these to help me.

Which would you choose?
