Blogtober 2020 – Get Into The Groove

Blogtober 2020 - Get Into The Groove

Today is Day 4 of Blogtober 2020, and the theme today is – Get Into The Groove.

I have thought long and hard over this prompt, and all I keep getting is Madonnas song going around in my head, which is a great song but not really helping me.

Rather than list my favourite songs, I am going to write about the times I love to listen to music

It is not a secret that I am not a fan of housework. I get fed up of the constant cleaning, hoovering, washing, ironing the list goes on.  I find putting on my music and turning it up so I can sing along and dance away while doing all these jobs, helps to make it less of a chore and more enjoyable.

Whether I am popping up the road to Tesco or on a longer journey.  I love listen to music, I turn up the stereo and sing along to all my favourite songs.

Walking

If I am walking the dogs on my own, I put in the headphones and listen to my favourite songs whilst walking and clearing my head.  I try not to sing while doing walking alone though.

I like to have some background noise when working, and often listen to music while working away.  Some how it helps me to think and focus on what I am working on.

What are your favourite times to get into your groove and listen to music? Do you have any other times you listen to music?

Did you see my post yesterday on Sweet Child O Mine? Tomorrows theme is Manic Monday I hope you come back to see my views on Manic Monday.

  1. Music really is the only thing that makes housework bearable isn’t , it’s such a mindnumbing task otherwise ! I like to clean to showtunes!!
