We are into day 10 of Blogtober 2020, and todays theme is relax. This is something we seem to keep forgetting to do.
One thing we are all guilty of is not relaxing enough. If like me you are always thinking of things you need to do, running around after others, or just keeping on top of everything. You need to stop and take a break and relax.
Tips to help us relax
1. Take a break
Put some music on and lay down or sit in a comfortable chair. Put your phone on silent and just enjoy the music.

3. Go for a walk
Fresh air is a great way to clear the mind, unwind and clear your mind.
4. Meet friends
Arrange to catch up with friends or family for a quick coffee break, lunch or evening out. Getting out and having a good catch up and a laugh does great things for our well being.
5. Pamper yourself
Give yourself a pamper session, whether it is painting your nails, having a nice long bubble bath, giving your hair a treatment. Giving yourself some self love always makes you feel much more relaxed.
6. Read a book
Let yourself be transported from real life and transported into a good book.
If I am stressed I love to bake, depending on how stressed it will be cakes or cookies. If I really need to destress I make bread and take it out on the dough.
8. Watch TV
Once dinner is served I will sit down and watch TV, I love my soaps so always look forward to catching up on the latest goings on. Or watch a Netflix box set or a good film
9. Sing a long
During the day I love to put music on and sing along, my family are not fans but always puts a smile on my face.
10. Have a family day
Spending time with my family is something I love, whether it is playing a game on a wet and miserable afternoon, going for a family walk or a fun day out. You will look back at the fun and happy memories for a long time.
