ACE Stain Remover Giveaway

When it comes to having a family, there always seems to be a mountain of washing.  It is very rare you see the bottom of your wash basket.  With doing the laundry, we all want our clothes to come out clean and fresh.  Getting rid of stains can be the hard part, which I have found over the years.

One brand I can rely is ACE stain remover products. No matter what the stain is, or how delicate the fabric is, you can rely on ACE to work its magic and make your job easier.

I have tried so many methods over the years, some ruining the garment and having to throw it away.  As a Mum you always have your go to products, and mine is ACE.

My opinion

Over the years, I have probably been faced with every stain you can think of.  Having 3 kids who could not help but get something down themselves.  I have tried every product on the market, some with great results, others a total waste of time. If I see a new product advertised, I just have to try it, sometimes, it is better to stick with what you know.I have been using ACE products for a while now and have always found them to work great and my clothes come out stain free and undamaged.

  1. Use washing powder and a little water to make a paste, rub into the stain and leave for 30 mins. Then put in the washing machine and wash like normal.

    1. A hot wash with the correct amount of detergent and a scoop of stain remover. Minimum 60 degrees on colour fast fabrics

  2. My top tip is to not let a stain dry. Try and keep it damp until you can wash it. If I have a stain at night I usually soak whatever is stained overnight and then was it in the morning

  3. I usually soak in a bowl of water with stain remover then put in the washing machine, im not a pro though, sometimes it just results in a bin jobby 🙁

  4. I am rubbish at removing stains! Usually I try not to mess with the stain before I know what I’m doing, and call someone who’s better at stain removal for advice!

  5. My top tip is to soak the clothing in warm soapy water for a while, then afterwards I would spray the stain with a bit of stain remover and then wash.

  6. Treat stains quickly and wash immediately … simpler said than done most of the time as stains don’t appear when you are close to chemicals and the washing machine

  7. Always try to rinse some of it out before washing in the machine and never leave it for days before trying to remove

  8. Make sure you deal with any stain as soon as possible and don’t use hot water else the stain will set and be there forever!

  9. I wish I had a top tip but I am the worst at cleaning clothes, either that or my kids are just ridiculously messy lol

  10. I try and treat the stain immediately. Although this is not always possible. I love a good in wash stain remover

  11. This is helpful! Another way of removing stain is to soak it a warm water and squeeze lemon drops in it. Doesn’t work all the time but no harm in trying.

  12. Literally go on google and search the best thing to clean the actual stain type it is. Each type of stain will need a different solution to get rid.

  13. Get to it as soon as you can and know what the stain is from and then if you’re not sure you know what best to do, google it before going any further.

  14. I’m pretty boring and buy Vanish to get rid of stains, if it don’t work, then I have no clue – my neighbour uses Bleach, but I’m wary!

  15. Soda crystals are a great all rounder! Using gloves,if you make a paste with them, they are excellent for removing stains.

  16. Act really fast when you get a stain if you can. Sometimes cold water and washing up liquid will do it but otherwise of course use Ace.

  17. My top tip is to liberally cover the stain with washing up liquid and then rub gently with a sponge. Leave for half an hour or so before putting through a normal wash cycle.

  18. Run and scrub the stain under cold water first then soak in cold water with a stain remover before washing in the washing machine

  19. My top tip is to not let a stain dry. Try and keep it damp until you can wash it. If I have a stain at night I usually soak whatever is stained overnight and then was it in the morning

  20. I put a lemon in a bowl with hot water, place in microwave, high for two minutes, remove, much easier to clean, no dried on splatters

  21. Always soak, spray with Ace stain remover, wash, then hang it in direct sunlight to dry. The sun always gets the stains out!

  22. I’ve got an oilcloth tablecloth and it stains easily. Nail polish remover works really well to get the stains out.

  23. tackle them asap! with whites I like adding a dishwasher tablet to my washing machine too, always helps bring them back to life

  24. Don’t let the stain dry. Pre treat it and let the stain remover sit for 10 minutes. Blot it away then add more to the washing machine

  25. for grease stains on t-shirts I first put a drop of good quality washing up liquid on the stain and leave to soak away the grease then wash it out before washing as normal – this normally works for me

  26. I like to pre soak before washing to help the stain lift, and do it as soon as you can before it sets into the fabric!

  27. For oil-based paint and varnish stains, sponge with white spirit or paintbrush cleaner, then wash as normal according to the fabric care label.

  28. I have found that if you rub washing up liquid into a stain and pop it into the wash you get good results. 80-100% gone. if it hasn’t just repeat. This has saved my clothes many times.

  29. My tip to get rid of hard stains is to always pre treat it before a wash and then add stain remover into the washing machine as well, lovely giveaway! And brilliant products

  31. I am not great with stains it took me this competition to realise I sprayed my trousers with stain remover 2 days ago and left them in the washing machine….. oopps

  32. I like to chuck anything that might stain straight in a bucket/bowl/sink of water, with some stain remover if I have it, until I can wash it properly. Usually works!
