My Week – 18/09/2016

Another week has flown by, and it is time for my weekly post about the goings on in the StressedMum household. My Daughter C, started back at school this week, she does 1 hour a day on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, in school with a tutor.  She has loved going back into school and starting to get a bit of routine back in to her life.  She was struggling by Thursday, but the smile on her face when she came out on Thursday made my week.  I asked her…

The end of Year 7

The end of Year 7

Looking at my Facebook memories and Timehop this morning,   21st July 2015 was my Daughters last day in her primary school, the day she said goodbye to year 6, the day she said goodbye to school as she knew it, with the class of friends she had been with since she was 4 years old. I remember looking at her thinking, how has this day arrived so soon, how is it possible that you are saying goodbye to your school, your friends and your teachers.  It only seemed a…

My Week – 06/06/16

I am a bit late in doing my post this week, as we were away for the weekend, so am doing my little update for you today. As I mentioned last week, we had both the boys here for the weekend staying, which was great having all 3 together under one roof for the first time in ages, it really affected my Daughter.  Although she was in bed most of the time they were here. Luckily it was half term last week, but unfortunately, while everyone was out and about…

My Week – 15/05/16

My Week – 15/05/16

I can not believe another week has passed, it seems to have flown by this week. My Daughter has had a really bad week this week, and did not make school, we had her consultants appointment on Tuesday, and more blood tests.  We managed to get her into the hospital for her appointment and then used a wheelchair, have you ever tried to steer one of those, they do not go in a straight line, so that gave us a few laughs.  The appointment went well, and he is supporting…

A Letter to my beautiful Daughter

A Letter to my beautiful Daughter

Dear Daughter Today is ME Awareness Day and I am writing this letter to you, to let you know how amazing both Dad and I think you are. You have had a very rough year with being ill, you have had days and weeks, of not being able to get up out of bed, you have had times you have been so shattered you have not wanted to move, days where you could not walk (or your bambi days as well call them). You have missed a lot of school…

My Week – 16/04/16

My Week – 16/04/16

Another week has flown by and time for my weekly update. I will start with my Daughter, as you will have seen from my update post on Thursday, we have finally got the diagnosis.  After chasing up my Consultants PA, and telling her school that a letter should be there anyday.  I had a meeting with school on Thursday morning to discuss a plan to get her back into school.  As my post had not arrived, I asked if they had received the letter, they had just received theirs and it…

Today!

Today!

This photo came up on my timehop today, it was taken 3 years ago, you have all seen my Daughter and my mad dog Max many times before, but this photo shows a whole new story. As you can see they adore each other, I would not say they are inseperable, as that would be a lie, because if there is food around, or the chance of food Max will be there, he is very fickle in that way. As you will also know, my Daughter has not been well…

My Week – 05/03/2016

My Week – 05/03/2016

I can not believe it is that time of the week, for my weekly post of what has been happening in my life. For those that are following me, my Daughter is still not well. Monday we managed to get her to school for a couple of hours, but came home in tears and feeling so unwell. Her consultant rang me Monday evening, with the results of her MRI that she had on Saturday and they came back all clear, so a huge sigh of relief, he also confirmed that…

A letter from the heart

A letter from the heart

Dear Daughter You have been ill since New Years Eve, you have been in pain, and unwell for all this time. I know I tell you, but thought I would write a letter from the heart so you know you are not alone. I have taken you to numerous Dr appointments, various hospital appointments, held your hand when having your many blood tests. Cuddled you, chatted with you when you have been able too. Gone out shopping to get you something you fancy to eat. I have chased results, rushed…

Goodbye January – Hello February

Goodbye January – Hello February

January has been and gone and we are now into the second month of the year.  I for one am glad to say goodbye to January, it really has been a rotten month for us. As you will probably know we run our own photography business (please do not think my photos are the standard you get as I take them on my phone), unfortunately due to the horrendous weather we have been having our studio got damaged, resulting in a lot of damage and a new roof having to…
