The ups and downs of living with a teen

Blogtober16 Day 3 – If You Won The Lottery You Would?

Day 3 of #blogtober16 is ‘If You Won The Lottery You Would’.  I am going to respond to this question by answering if it was the big one.

This is something myself and my husband have talked about over the years, like everyone else.  As it would be a massive change in our lives, the first thing we would do is go away on holiday to let it all sink in, and not make any rash plans. Obviously a huge shopping spree for new holiday clothes as well.

The next thing on our list would be a new home, we have always talked about living in a converted barn, and having it converted to what we want in a home.

My husband would be car shopping and already knows what he would own, I just want a little run around for me to go about my business.

I would give to very close family and friends, those that have been there through good and bad, we already know who we would give too and the list is quite short, although I am sure a lot of people would start taking a lot more interest in us.

I have a few charities that I would give to cancer research, ACTSMA and Invest in ME, my main one obviously would be Invest in ME as that is something we live with daily through our Daughter, and anything we can do that could maybe help we would.

I would like to think it would not change us, obviously some things would change, more holidays, more shopping trips and trips out.  But I would still keep blogging and my husband would have his hobbies and do what he loves.  The kids would still have to work and not be handed everything to them on a plate, but they would not have to worry about mortgage/rent, new cars, holidays.
