Blogtober16 Day 2 – An Old Photo Of You

Day 2 of Blogtober16 is An Old Photo Of You.  This was a tough one as do I choose one from my childhood or do I choose one from when I am older.  In the end I decided to choose this one.

I was about 3 years old here, I remember this dress as it was dark blue with white lace and I had a matching ribbon for my hair, my Grandma had made it for me, after seeing a dress in a shop.  I was very lucky to have one Grandma who could look at a dress and then go home and make it, and my other one who could knit anything.

I did share this photo in a post last year following on from one of those Facebook posts where you share photos of you when you were younger, and everyone said my Daughter is the spit of me (poor child).

I did think about posting a photo of me from older years but looking at them they are just too cringe worthy to post, you can imagine the 80’s big hair.

So this is my post for Day 2, tomorrows post is ‘If You Won The Lottery You Would?’

I love your dress, I love how they’re making a comeback as I prefer them to a lot of the things they bring out, that’s how my little girl is going to be dressed like a little girl should be

Thank you, I used to love my Daughter in dresses but she would never keep anything in her hair
