Blogtober Day 1 – Who Are You?

As I stated in my last post, I am taking part in the #Blogtober16 challenge, where we post everyday with a different topic.  Todays topic is Who Are You?

For those who do not know me, I am Sam a 40 something Mum, StepMum, Wife, Blogger, Nurse, Housekeeper, Cook,  you get the picture.

I am married to my wonderful hubby, we have been together for 17 years and this week celebrated our 14th Wedding Anniversary, although he was ill so we have not officially celebrated yet.

I am also Mum to our 12 year old Daughter, who this year has been diagnosed with ME/CFS, so I spend a lot of time caring for her, or at various appointments, she has just returned to school with a tutor for 1-2-1 lessons 1 hour a day for 3 days and is managing them but struggling when home.  I am also ‘wicked’ stepmum, to my two boys who are 18 and 21.  The 18 year old has recently moved in with us, which has really turned our house upside down, but is lovely having him here and my Daughter loves having her brother here.  We see the 21 year old every so often and speak all the time.

We also have two dogs Max our Alaskan Malamute, who has adopted my Son as his and follows him everywhere, he is a great big cuddle monster.  We also have Bear a German Shepherd who is a bit bigger now, who is totally mad.

I also have a cat who is 23, she is an old lady but puts the dogs in their place, I have no photos of her as she will move as soon as she knows you are even thinking of trying to take a picture of her.

So this is me, sadly not very exciting, but I love my family.

I will be back tomorrow with day 2 of #Blogtober16 where the topic will be ‘An Old Photo Of You’
