On a rainy Sunday afternoon, why not spend a bit of time in the kitchen to make something yummy to have with that cuppa, and to keep the kids entertained for a little while.
These are so quick and easy to make.
250g Porridge Oats
125g Brown Sugar
2-3 tbsps Golden Syrup
Pre heat the oven to 180 and lightly grease a baking tray, or you can cheat like me and use a silicone sheet.
Put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly, spread onto the baking tray and cook for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Leave to cool and cut into squares and leave to cool on a wire cooling tray.
You can add other ingredients dried fruit, cherries, chocolate chips, nuts whatever you fancy, or dip in chocolate, or just serve as above.
