I was recently given the opportunity to review a Halogen Oven, I have wanted to try one of these for a long time and have often looked at buyng myself one, so I could not refuse the offer to review.
What is a Halogen Oven?

Creating healthier and faster meals with no need for additional fats or oils. The food retains nutrients and flavour and cooks up to 40% faster tha a conventional oven whilst using less energy.
The first thing I decided to try in my new halogen oven was home-made bread. As I make bread quite often at home I thought I would go with something I can compare to easily. As you can see it came out ok. I will admit I stood watching it for the whole time, to make sure it was working properly. all the while my kitchen was smelling amazing.
Feeling brave I decided to try roasting a chicken, I was very impressed with just how easy this was with the speed of cooking, as to how well it cooked. Once cooked I decided to try homemade chips and have chicken and homemade chips for our dinner. My family looked a little wary but everyone loved them and now I am being asked to make them all the time.
What we have tried so far
My husband decided to try steak in the halogen and then just finishing off on the griddle pan, the steak was amazing, very tender and juicy and cooked to perfection.
I hav also tried pizza, curry, and a few other meals in mine.
The halogen oven is great for those with busy lifestyles, as you can cook a home cooked meal in less time than a conventional oven.
