Whistle Punks Valentines Giveaway

If you are looking for something a little different to do,  how about axe throwing?  I was recently contacted to about Whistle Punks who offer a great experience for a valentines date with a difference to a bigger group of you going.

I can see you all now thinking to yourselves, what is axe throwing?

It is exactly what you are thinking, it is all about throwing an axe and hitting a target.  You will have an experienced coach to get you started, and then you will be left with music playing to cheer on your friends and see who will be crowned king or queen of your tournament.

You have 90 minutes, which will start off with a safety briefing and throwing techniques, once your instructor is happy that you have the hang of it, you will move on to the tournament,

You get one point for an outer ring, three points for the inner ring and five points for a bullseye.

Whistle Punks are located in London, Birmingham and Manchester, you can view their locations here.

I have been given 2 tickets to giveaway to one of my lucky readers, please see below to enter.

It is a different valetnines date isn’t it. I was offered a chance to go along but I declined as me with an axe and throwing one would end in disaster x

I had no idea we had one of these in Manchester. I have to admit I have the worst upper body strength so I doubt I’d be any good.

I am the same as you, I just know I would be useless at it and have my husband either laughing or getting annoyed with me lol

  4. 17th January 2018 / 7:05 pm

I’ll have to make sure we get along or I might end up with an axe in my foot hehe

I guess it beats target shooting with guns. This seems like it would be fun to try but am not sure if I would do it twice. Might stick to darts….

      18th January 2018 / 2:09 pm

It does beat target shooting, and I am much safer with darts x

It does sound like a great date idea, but would be lethal to let me loose with an axe x

A very unique way of spending valentine’s day. I’d be worried I would miss and cause an accident! It does sound like a great alternative to archery tho.

I turned down the chance to go along and try for the same reason, as me and an axe could spell disaster x

This sounds like a fabulous idea of a gift. I don’t think I have actually received any strange gifts for Valentine’s day. My bf is not that great with gifts, haha.

No daft gifts to report, but I did once set fire to the kitchen on Valentine’s Day. I’d served out, and realised I’d left the chip pan on. Rushed through in time to see it burst into flames. My now ex put out the fire while I was absolutely useless, and then we had takeout instead.

Oh no I have done the same thing as well, luckily my ex was on hand I just panicked x

I was once given a huge box with multiple smaller boxes / layers inside it (pass the parcel style), At the very end was a small box with a single Rolo inside.

This was when there was a series of TV adverts for Rolo saying “Do you love anyone enough to give them your last Rolo?”

Romantic or annoying – you decide 🙂
