The top 3 places to take your spouse for a romantic getaway

Finding a romantic getaway is not easy. Most of them are either expensive or crowded. Fortunately, Asia has some of the best-known destinations for couples. Most of these countries are affordable and offer stunning beaches and world heritage sites guaranteed to make your trip with your spouse a memorable one. Asia Holiday Retreats offers a unique selection of various getaways that you can explore whether you are looking for a romantic adventure or simply a honeymoon destination.

What’s more, these getaways offer untapped travel potential and aren’t crowded like those you would find in popular areas. If you’re looking for a place to take your spouse, here are some suggestions that will come in handy.

Bali, Indonesia

Termed as the perfect blend of Asian culture and natural beauty, Bali is known for its splendor and unique attractions. If you’re on a budget and you’re looking for something out of the ordinary, Bali has something for everyone.  With an array of villas overlooking breathtaking views, you can pick from those spread out to paddy fields or those situated on the seafront. As a couple, you can opt for a couple’s massage with accompaniments such as champagne and whole strawberries. Visit the Ayana Resort’s Rock bar to enjoy a romantic evening while you watch the sunset. For a quiet getaway, relax on the sandy Jimbaran Bat with your spouse.

Known for its mystical Angkor Wat, one of the renowned wonders of the world, Cambodia is a great romantic getaway full of beauty and decades of history. Visit the Ko Rong, the second largest island of Cambodia and sample a vast array of untouched beaches of coloration and length. It also gives you access to the Cardamom Mountains where you can experience beautiful wildlife and enjoy all that nature has to offer. If you love indulging in the best things in life and are not shy about having fun at night, the Sihanoukville resort is where you should be.

The fact that it is the smallest country in Asia does not intimidate it and keep it from having some of the best places for couples. There are endless things to do here. If you enjoy scuba diving or at least want to try it out, this is the best place for you. You get the luxury of booking a floating bungalow and enjoy what nature has to offer. You can also choose a beautiful honeymoon resort depending on what you like. However, always begin your tours at the capital city, Male where you can splurge on amazing scenery.

Defined as one of the numerous islands that you have to visit, the magnificent beaches and the friendly people, Thailand is a perfect getaway destination for couples who want to visit Asia. Phil Phi islands offer great scenery and crystal clear waters perfect for scuba diving. Thailand is also home to Koh Lipe, Maya bay, Halong bay and Viking cave which are amazing places to visit as well. If you enjoy beer stop by Koh Samui for the perfect exotic taste of local beers served at low costs.

We have a big anniversary coming up and I’ve been thinking of what I’d like to do for my husband. A romantic getaway sounds like just the thing. My best friend has a sister who lives in Bali and I’ve always wanted to go. Maybe now is the time!
