Blogtober Day 23 – My Favourite Time Of The Year

Today on the blogtober challenge, we are finding out my favourite time of the year. Although I was slightly torn between two really, I chose Spring.

Why Spring? Because we have been through the doom of the cold, dark winter, with dull and grey days, the freezing cold icy winds and rain.

With spring,  the days start to get slightly longer, gardens start getting more colourful with the flowers starting to bloom.  Seeing the Daffodils come through always puts a smile on my face. The days start getting warmer and sunnier.  Everyone starts to feel a bit happier and smiles more.  We can ditch the boots, coats, scarves and thick jumpers.

We can start to look forward to the summer, where the days are longer, we can enjoy trips out, picnics in the park or on the beach, bbq’s in the garden or with friends.  We start to come out of hybernation and enjoy friends and family more.

So that is why Spring is my favourite time of the year.

What is your favourite time of the year?

I do love the summer for my flip flops x

I do agree Spring is a lovely time of the year but I actually prefer it getting darker and adding more layers, so Autumn is my favourite time of the year x

I think all the seasons have their good points but I love warm sunny days so it has to be summer for me x

Totally agree spring is one of the best! I’m not keen on the cold weather to be honest

Spring is the best as the start of the nicer weather x

I can see why you love Spring so much. I think mine would have to be summer. Having been born and raised on the French Riviera, summer is really where it’s at for me. The long days on the beach, the fun boat trips to the islands, chilling in the sun, BBQs… That’s where it’s at for me! Although I do love Christmas too, but I’m not one for the cold so I’d much rather spend it at home than in London. Ha!

I love spring too! I’m not sure I have a favourite season though because I love aspects of them all! But yeah, I do love spring but I think that’s mainly because it’s my birthday 🙂

I love this time of year but December is definitely my favourite month. I love the build up to Christmas and then the January sales.

The January sales are always a bonus, but hate the grey cold miserable weather x

Oh I’m the opposite – I don’t really like Spring at all. I associate it with constant rain (which I am a right grump over haha!) and I don’t think it’s as lovely as the others. Goes to show how different everyone is! x

Everbody is different, I am happier when the weather starts to turn a bit warmer and it can be lovely in the Spring x

Love this post theme – I happen to like all of the seasons, and the new they bring. Spring is such a season of renewal!

I actually live all seasons for so many things. I love crisp autumn days but adore sunny summer days…. but spring when the flowers first start coming back
