I was lucky to be offered the chance to review tails.com, they are an online dog food company, that delivers your pets food direct to your door.
How do you start
When you sign up they ask a range of questions about your dog. From age to breed and from the information provided they tailor the food especially for your pet.
As Max has a raw food diet, this service was not right for him. So we decided to trial Bear who loves his food.
Unfortunately, we had to wait until he was 3 months old before we could sign up completely and wait for his food to arrive.
The process was so easy and you can choose your delivery day, so you know when the food is arriving. You can then choose your next delivery as and when you want to. Either choosing for monthly deliveries or you can pause delivery at anytime.
When your delivery arrives, you receive a box with the food, information about the food and the unique recipe for Bear and a scoop which they tell you the correct sizing for him and how many scoops to have a day. It is all so easy.
I have delayed writing my post as we have found prior to trialling tails.com, that some foods would affect Bears stomach, so I wanted to see how he would be affected. I can quite happily say that he has had no problems, so a huge hit on that fact alone.
Honestly I can say, that I am very impressed with the ease of the website. The communication once you have placed your order, the food and information you receive with it. You can pause or cancel your order at anytime. Or just have peace of mind that you will receive your next order to your door.
If you would like to try tails.com for yourself (or rather your dog), I have been given a special discount code that will allow you a two weeks free trial for just £1 delivery. If you would like to take them up on this offer please click here
