Peanut Butter and Banana Dog Treats

I haven’t done this in ages, so thought I would do another cooking video of dog treats with the help of Bear.  He is nearly 4 months old now, and was a lot more helpful than on my last video, which you may remember he made a brief appearance.  Max decided to stay out of the way for this one as he was having a rest as Bear will not leave him alone bless him.

So after looking for recipes I came across Peanut Butter and Banana dog treats, which only uses 3 ingredients, all of which I had in.  You can find the full recipe here.  It is so easy to make.

You grind down your porridge oats (1 and a half cups)

mix together half a cup of smooth peanut butter and 1 large mashed banana and then add all but about a table spoon of the oats to the mixture.

Once combined and formed into a dough you use the remained of the oats and sprinkle onto a board and then roll out your dough, cut out and then bake at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes or until starting to brown.

As you can see Bear had fun and loved the finished results which he kindly shared with Max.

Max did not want to join in, I think he likes Bear being occupied as it means he can get a rest, I was expecting Bear to be a lot worse than he was, hopefully he will be good next time as well x
