My Week – 23/04/2016

It’s that time again for my weekly post.  I have been very busy this week, and have been very quiet on my blog.

I spoke in last weeks post, the heartbreaking news that we had to say goodbye to one of our dogs, Bertie, he had been ill for a long time and there was nothing more we could do.

Unfortunately, Max missed him and was heartbroken, he never got to say goodbye and he was pining, he could not understand why his mate was not here anymore.  It broke our hearts seeing him so miserable.

So on Thursday, a lot sooner than we expected we got a new addition to our house, and I would like to introduce Bear (my Daughter named him)

He is a 9 week old German Shepherd Puppy, who has stolen all our hearts, he is such a character and him and Max adore each other. Max is being so good with him and letting Bear climb all over him.

My Daughter has had a good week, she was in school on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, she missed Tuesday as she had a bad day, and Thursday she had physio which wiped her out. Since we have had Bear she has got up and come downstairs and she has a bit of her spark back, although you can see her struggling with tiredness and pain.

Today, I have a belated night out for my birthday with my husband and our close friends, always a great time and really looking forward to it.

I have not really got much more to report, we have been so busy with my Daughter, a pining dog and the explosion of Bear coming into our home.

Look out soon for a cooking with Max and Bear video coming, that is going to fun.

Hope you have all had a good week.

Thank you, it was heartbreaking but it was the best thing we could do, we couldn’t let him suffer anymore bless him. Bear has certainly made himself at home never a dull moment here now x

Thank you, it was heartbreaking losing Bertie, but it was the kindest option for him as we had tried all we could, the only other option was surgery but the vet said he probably wouldn’t make it 🙁
It broke Max’s heart as well, so we got little Bear and he has certainly cheered Max up, and Bear has certainly found his feet
