Have you heard of a letterbox cake? Baker Days are a company that offer just this, a cake delivered to your letterbox.
I was recently contacted and asked if I would like to review one of their cakes and shared my thoughts with my readers, and offer the chance for a giveaway.
Baker Days offer cakes for all occasions, there is too many to list, but if you think of an occasion they will have a cake for you.
You can choose one of their many designs or you can upload your own picture and they will use this for the cake, alongside the words you have chosen.
I was able to chose any design I wanted, so with a cup of coffee I sat down to browse what they had on offering, I did think about sending in my own picture to use, but thought I would use one of their many designs. As I have no birthdays or celebrations coming up, well apart from mine, but that is a couple of weeks away. I decided to chose one for my Daughter to cheer her up, and as she is into her Emoji’s. I decided to choose an Emoji cake, and finally decided on the Thank You Emoji Cake.
Designing your cake is very easy, well it is once you have chosen the design you want, you simply choose the size of cake you require, then you select the flavour of cake you would like, they even have dairy free and gluten free cakes, so cater for everyone. You can then choose to leave it un-personalised, or you can choose how you would like to personalise the cake, and you can then preview it to see that you are happy with it before ordering.
The cakes are priced at
- £14.99 for a 5″ Letterbox Gift Cake (3-4 portions)
- £27.99 for a 7″ Small Party Cake (10-12 portions)
- £37.99 for a 9″ Medium Cake (18-25 portions)
- £57.99 for a 12″ Large Cake + Free Helium Balloon (40-55 portions)
They have a variety of flavours of cakes to also choose from
- Vanilla Sponge Cake is the standard cake at no extra charge
- Chocolate Chip Sponge Cake, made with Belgium chocolate is an extra £1.00
- Gluten Wheat Free Cake is an extra £2.00
- Dairy Free Cake is an extra £2.00

I was very pleased when the cake arrived, it was packaged really well in a sturdy box and the cake was in its own little tin, and came with a little greeting card and a packet of love hearts for an extra touch.
As you can see I chose the cake for my Daughter, to cheer her up a bit and put a smile on her face.
Baker Days have also kindly offered one of my lucky readers the chance to win their own Letterbox Cake. See below how to enter
