An Important Question?

So while I am not sleeping too well at the moment, apart from what is keeping me awake at night, I have the odd random thought pop into my head, and I have an important question.

So today, I have a very important question for you all, I know that this will divide the you all.

Are you a coffee or a tea drinker?

From what I can see there are 3 groups the coffee drinker, the tea drinker and those that don’t like either.

The coffee drinker, loves their coffee, some are happy with instant coffee, some prefer fresh filter coffee, and then there is the coffee machines like tassimo, dulce gusto and nespresso, or the machines that are like mini versions of Costa and Starbucks.

Then there is the different varieties of coffee you have black, white, latte and cappuccino to name a few and the different flavours you can add to them.

The tea drinker, they love their tea, whether it is with tea bags or leaf tea.  You also have to decide, do you make your tea in a tea pot or if using tea bags just straight in the cup.  Whether you like strong tea or weak tea.

Do you put the milk in first or last.

You also have the fruit teas and flavoured teas, that come in such a variety of flavours.

Or are you someone, like a few I know who do not like tea or coffee.

I am very much a coffee drinker, I love my coffee, those close to me know I am not best approached until I have had my first coffee of the morning.  I love my tassimo machine.  I did used to have one that made fresh coffee and you had a milk frother attached, but I lent it to someone who ruined it.

I do drink tea, it is my go to drink when I am ill, a cup of tea seems to be what I want or need.  I should drink it more often as I have it without sugar.

So come on are you a coffee drinker or a tea drinker?

I’m a coffee drinker. Instant is fine. Although I love filter coffee the caffeine content is too high and it makes my heart go wibbly wobbly if I drink too much! I’m a herbal infusion lady in the evenings (I’m addicted to Yogi Tea!).

Coffee never has any affect on me, luckily as I drink so much of it. I can not stand herbal tea, I have tried it on and off but I just don’t like it x

  2. 22nd February 2016 / 12:02 pm

I love both!! I’m a massive fan of flavoured (not herbal!) teas and I need coffee to get through the day. I never have been one to conform!

    Em xXx

  3. 22nd February 2016 / 1:22 pm

Tea all the way! I can’t even stand the smell of coffee oddly – but I drink tea by the bucket load. x

      I am a huge coffee drinker x

  4. 22nd February 2016 / 1:44 pm

I’m a coffee drinker, but am feeling rubbish with a cold at the moment so have turned to tea! I think it’s partly a comfort thing, wanting tea when I’m ill, but also that my tastebuds go a bit funny and coffee just doesn’t taste as good! x

      22nd February 2016 / 8:21 pm

I am the same I am a coffee drinker, but do go towards tea when I am ill x

  5. 22nd February 2016 / 1:46 pm

I don’t drink either. I’ll have the odd cup of tea.. rarely! I started drinking green tea last year to help with weight loss but stopped drinking that as it was keeping me awake at night. I don’t like coffee AT ALL.

      22nd February 2016 / 10:10 pm

I love coffee but there is so many types out there, I do have sugar in coffee though, where as in tea I don’t have sugar so should make the effort to drink more tea

  9. 22nd February 2016 / 8:55 pm

I’m a mix. I genuinely love them both. If I had to pick one I would probably go for tea because of the massive variety but it’s a tough call 😉

I am definitely a coffee girl, although sometimes I do just want a cup of tea x

  10. 22nd February 2016 / 9:21 pm

I have tried fruit teas, but just can not get on with them

  11. 22nd February 2016 / 10:08 pm

I can’t have caffeine so I have decaf but it still tastes good to me, I love both decaf coffee and tea!

      22nd February 2016 / 11:35 pm

      I love my lattes x

  12. 23rd February 2016 / 10:59 am

I wasn’t ever a fan of either but in recent years I’ve come around to it. I love a good Mocha or chai latte, but my IBS isn’t a fan so I have to limit it! I like my tea sweet and strong – It feels like a hug at the end of a long day. Milk should go in last! My OH is a BIG coffee fan, and we have a cupboard full of different flavours and types, as well as a whole host of loose leaf and herbal teas! Phew!

      23rd February 2016 / 3:37 pm

My tea is weak and milky no sugar, my coffee is strong and with sugar and has to have milk. My husband loves Mocha I am not so keen, we have a variety of coffees as well x

  13. 23rd February 2016 / 10:59 am

I LOVE the taste of coffee, but sadly I have to have decaff, as I can’t handle caffeine. So, I am just sleepy all the time!

      23rd February 2016 / 3:36 pm

  15. 23rd February 2016 / 12:39 pm

    • admin
      23rd February 2016 / 3:34 pm

I wish I liked herbal and fruit teas, but I don’t I have tried them and have not found one I like yet. Maybe I am too traditional and like my milk in my tea x

  16. 23rd February 2016 / 7:22 pm

I’m definitely a coffee drinker through and through, although I always have a cup of tea with a bacon sandwich. I put the milk in first 🙂

    • admin
      23rd February 2016 / 8:03 pm

I only drink tea if I am ill, it is coffee all the time for me. I am milk first as well x

  17. 23rd February 2016 / 7:56 pm

I’m the third group. I don’t drink either! It makes me feel positively un-British to admit I don’t like tea but there you go. I like hot chocolate though.

      23rd February 2016 / 8:02 pm

  20. 23rd February 2016 / 9:11 pm

When I was living in America I was a coffee drinker but now all I drink is tea. I like it strong as well, so leave the tea bag in for a good 3 minuets and only a tiny amount of milk.

    • admin
      24th February 2016 / 7:52 am

  25. 24th February 2016 / 10:29 pm

Haha, I love this post and this is definitely one of the important questions. You can tell a lot about a person by their favourite hot beverage. Sadly, I’m a fan of neither – but I wouldn’t say no to a nice hot chocolate. xx

    • admin
      25th February 2016 / 7:05 am

I am glad you agree it is an important question. There is nothing wrong with a nice hot chocolate though x

  26. 25th February 2016 / 3:54 am

Coffee lover here! But I can’t really choose which type I like most. Sometimes I like milkier or a strong one. I can take all kind from instant to whatever. Haha

I think the name of my blog clearly shows which camp I’m in and yes I do drink it by the bucket full. I don’t like coffee at all, even the smell can bring on a migraine

    • admin
      25th February 2016 / 8:26 pm

Oh no, I drink coffee by the bucket full, I am lucky I have never had a migraine, I know everything there is to know about migraines this week, especially medication though x

  29. 25th February 2016 / 9:13 pm

Coffee every time for me! I love the ceremony and ritual around a cup of tea, but hate the flavour. And I’ve tried so many different varieties.

Give me a good strong espresso, mocha or even a good instant and I’m happy!

      25th February 2016 / 9:18 pm

I am a coffee girl, but do tend to go for tea when I am ill x
