It has been half term here, which has been nice not to have any alarms going off and worrying about my Daughter going to school.
Unfortunately, she is still no better and has spent most of the week in bed, we have had yet another Dr appointment and a few more hospital letters with appointments, but still no nearer to finding out what is wrong with her.
I asked if she would like one of her friends to come round for a few hours, and she said she would like that and arranged for a friend to come round and have dinner with her. It was so lovely to hear laughter for a while, although you could see she was really struggling and getting more and more worn out and in pain, but she would not give in. I jokingly told her friend to try and make sure she eats a decent amount of dinner and she nagged her for me.
We have had one of my stepsons staying for a few days, he has been helping his Dad sort out the studio and been doing tip runs with me, he has been a star and we got so much more done with him being here. Max (our dog) adores him and will not leave his side the whole time he is here. Probably more to do with the fact he keeps feeding him or runs around playing with him outside, he is now sulking as his playmate has gone back home.
Tuesday, I had tickets to see a play in London, and had been looking forward to it, my husband stayed home in the end so he could be with our Daughter and I had a night out with my Mum, something we haven’t done in a long time. We had a nice meal and chatted about anything and everything. Unfortunately, the play was not that good and we actually left half way through.
Also on Tuesday, the doorbell rang and I went to answer it thinking it was another delivery for my husband, and a lovely lady was standing on my doorstep with a gorgeous delivery of flowers for me, I was shocked as I never receive flowers, they were from my amazing in-laws to cheer me up as my Mother in Law knows how down and stressed I have been lately.
Hope you have all had a lovely week, and have enjoyed your half term holidays
