My Week – 08/02/16

This week (or last week as it is now), was slightly better than the previous week.

Unfortunately, my Daughter is still not well, and we were back at the Dr’s on Monday morning, who signed her off school for the whole week, with total rest.  And yes she had a sick note.  She also arranged for a rapid response appointment to be seen at the hospital, which has come through for this Thursday.

The rest did her good, and she does seem a bit brighter in herself and was desperate to go back to school today, which was lovely to see.  I spoke to her Welfare Officer on Friday and again this morning, that she will go in for 2 lessons and then play it lesson  by lesson to see how she goes and leave it to her to decide when she has had enough.  She managed a few hours and then I got the call to collect her, and she has been in bed since.  Think this is going to be a long process.

In other news, we have had loads of deliveries this week, unfortunately nothing exciting like a new handbag, dress or pair of boots, all boring stuff for the studio repairs.

I have been out a few times with my husband, nothing romantic though just trips to B&Q, he certainly knows how to treat a girl.

Hope you have all had good weeks and the weather not done too much damage to where you live.  We had a power cut this evening, would have been fine if I wasn’t in the kitchen trying to put something in the fridge and everywhere went into pitch blackness, I just stood there going help until my husband came to the rescue with the phone so I could use that as a torch.  Never a dull moment in this house.

It sounds like your daughter is beginning to feel a bit better. It must be really worrying. Hopefully Thursday will bring a diagnosis for you. Wish her well.

I am really hoping, she is a lot better than she was a few weeks ago, but still not well, so hoping it was a virus and she is coming to the end of it, hopefully they will confirm this on Thursday x

I have 19yr old twin girls, and I hate it when they are ill. You want to solve everything and make it all ok, and when you can’t it feels terrible.

I hope she recovers soon and is back to full health
