Must be something in the air

Must be something in the air

I know Halloween is approaching and strange things happen, but there is definitely something strange going on in our house.

Something is not right, and it feels very very strange.

Something has happened to my daughter, do I worry? is it the time of year? has someone swapped her?

This past week, she has been a joy to be around, don’t get me wrong I love her to bits, but she has been lovely, no strops, no tempers, just funny and chatty.

She gets up in the morning with no problems, has her breakfast, gets ready for school, does her hair (properly), sorts her bag out making sure she has everything.

She comes home from school, all chatty and happy and happily tells me about her day.

Even when I have been on at her about homework, the state of her bedroom etc, she has not gone off into her Kevin the teenager routine.

Maybe she is growing up, maybe she has learnt that her Mum is always right well us Mums are always right), or maybe she has finally learnt that ‘Because I say so’ does actually mean that, or it could be because it is her birthday in 2 weeks.

Or it could be due also to the fact that we have our parents meetings tomorrow to see how they are getting on, although I really can not see a problem there.

I have to say that I am loving this parenting bit at the moment, with my happy, gorgeous girl. I just love being around her and we have such a laugh.

Please let it continue for a bit longer.

Scary. Maybe she’s a changeling? Or it could be the full moon? However, skeptic that I am I think she’s after something. X

It didn’t last long, I have been having to warn her about her mood and strops and just who she is talking too. These hormones are a nightmare, one minute they are a joy to be around and within seconds they are stroppy and moody x
