ActSma Butterfly Ball

I have written before about the amazing charity ActSma, you can read about it here

Each year, they host a Butterfly Ball, and we got home last night from this years Ball.

The night was amazing, Emma works so hard to raise awareness and funds to help other families, she is an amazing woman and I am very honoured to call her my friend.

The ball started at 6pm, with welcome drinks and your photograph taken (we were the official photographers this year), before being seated at your table at 7pm.

The meal was gorgeous as always, you get a choice (pre booked before the night) of starters, main and dessert, wine on the table, followed by coffee and mints.

After the meal, Emma gives a speech about why we were all there and they play a video which explains perfectly, what they do and why they do it.  This years video was so touching as always, and there was not a dry eye in the house.

the auction started and Luke Marsden, stepped into the shoes of auctioneer a role in which he has been doing for the past 5 years.  He is an amazing auctioneer and puts fun into the auction.

After the auction, it was time for the disco, before the raffle (unfortunately I did not win again this year) am sure my tickets are not put in.

The amazing DJ, great music as always

And then it was back to the disco to dance away the night.

I can not wait for next years Ball, it is a great night out
